Don’t let him strip you!

Good morning fam!

Wow didn’t realized how much I missed doing my blog until the revelation to write just fell upon me! It has been on my spirit that I needed to get back to blogging and ministering through my words to others a lot over the past weekend but I still had not taken any action.

Let me start by saying- take a deep breath and blow it all the way out. Take another deep breath and blow it all the way out. Just breathe. We all know that the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. We know that he can take power over us if we allow him to do so. We need to know that we have authority, from God over the devil. We must renew our minds daily in order to fight fear, anxiety, hopelessness, pain and discouragement with FAITH. You have to put on your armor daily and fight with your spiritual weapons over this spiritual warfare.

Lately God has been moving so much in my life that it is simply amazing. He is so good to me! Like the song says I cannot tell it all. Many of you know that I just gave birth last weekend. I hosted my 3rd Annual S.I.S. Retreat on the 16th which was absolutely incredible. Well, last Monday I began really being attacked by anxiety becoming physically sick throughout the day. I kept standing on the word, asking others to agree with me for it to be gone, meanwhile telling others to stop speaking doubt in their own lives. Also these past few days I have been having car trouble. Multiple times I’ve had to get my car because it kept loosing it’s charge. I had to search and wait for someone each time to get jumped because I was by myself or my knocks and calls ignored. Come to find out my battery cables were loose causing my battery to not provide power to my vehicle. When I went to get the cables tightened the man told me that he was able to tighten the negative side but that the positive side was stripped.

Upon receiving a text from my accountability partner this morning I received this revelation from the Holy Spirit. What are you letting him, the devil, strip from you? It’s no surprise that he will throw all of the negative things at us and trick us in to believe his lies and distract us from all the other positive amazing things God is doing in your life! Don’t let him strip you! Don’t cause yourself to miss out on the blessings in front of you. Don’t let fear steal your joy and opportunities before you. Keep pressing through!

Currently Pastor Blunt is teaching a series on How to Have a Radical Life. You can listen to this free online or from your iPhone through our free COTR app.  I sincerely encourage you to take a moment and listen to this powerful message it is truly life changing!

Today get rid of the fear that has been holding you back! Take control over your thoughts today!

Be blessed fam!

9 days until 2011 VOICES: 3rd Annual S.I.S. Retreat!

Good morning fam!!

I am still here! I have not lost my focus for “the bubbles.” Rather I have been purposing my time for my upcoming Retreat. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers over the next 9 days. We all know when we’re doing something for God that the enemy tries his best to bring friction. God is good though and I know that this is a part of my purpose. This is why I fast and pray so that NO WEAPON formed against me and my destiny shall prosper!!! In Jesus’ name!

Love you fam!

Success is the only option!

Good morning fam!

Wow! I am blown away by how God is moving in the midst of it all- for my family, my friends, in my workplace, church and in our community!! The first thing that God spoke to me today was “Junk in junk out. What are you putting in you is going to come out!” Just this past week our youth Pastor Mark Supak was finishing up our March series of Game Over it’s a R.A.P. and said the same thing. Today this resonated with me so deeply that it covered not just food, music, and thoughts but also our expectations. A quote Mark used in his sermon was by Winston Churchill which says “failure to plan is planning to fail.”

I dare to say that “Expecting to succeed starts with planting a seed.” We MUST expect that Success is the only option, that it is what is in the forefront of our mind not planning to fail. We must plant those seeds of success in our minds and nourish them regularly by staying in the word and affirming ourselves. We must make a conscious decision to tame our thoughts and steer them in the positive direction. We must plan to be successful and plan to listen to the Holy Spirit that is ordering our steps. We must plan to be obedient and know that there will be trials but by faith, persistence,  and God by our side- who can stand against us?!

Today expect God to do exceedingly and abundantly above all you can ask or think! Do your part and plan to succeed today!

Be blessed fam!

It’s amazing

It’s amazing how He speaks through people and words written so many years ago to get through to me.

It’s amazing how when finally I stop and quiet myself to hear Him, He lets me know He’s been speaking to me the whole time.

It’s amazing how He makes me feel when I’m in His presence.

It’s amazing how much He makes me love Him when I realize His unending love for me.

It’s amazing- He’s amazing!

He’s so amazing that I don’t mind that He loves everyone else around me with that deep love that He so intimately shares with me.

He’s so amazing that I can’t get enough of Him.

He’s so amazing that I crave learning about Him and can’t wait to speak to Him day and night.

He’s so amazing that words can’t describe Him.

He’s so amazing- He is!

He is my husband.

He is my best friend.

He is the Alpha, the Omega- the beginning and the end.

He is my shelter, my peace, my strong tower!

He is my provider, my Father, my Savior, my Healer…

He is…

He is why I wake up in the  morning and the reason a smile is ever able to cross my face.

He is the love of my life that no man could ever replace.

He is the reason I dance, the reason I sing.

He is the reason every flower opens up in Spring, why eagles spread their wings, why church bells ring.

He is…He is

It’s amazing…
